Everyday at 2pm my daughter wakes from her nap. I’m usually sitting at the desk next to the bed, quietly typing away until from one moment to the next, she opens her eyes and looks up at me. I love this time in my day. We kiss, hug and spend a few moments together until she pops up, rolls of the bed and runs off ready to play. Left behind on my bed, is the impression of where she slept – wrinkles and folds in the shape of her form, and for some reason, it makes me happy seeing it.
