Nice advise regarding the Oven Cleaner. Sprinkling baking soda inside the oven and using lemon to scrub it really does work well. Give this tip a go.
This is so fab! Love it π Utterly useful tips.
I would like to try the lemon seasoning (#16). I have already zested my lemons and squeezed out the juice into an icecube tray. Are the rinds still good for the seasoning? They are in halves, do I just put the half in the warm oven or am I supposed to clean out the centers?

Loved your 20 Ways to Get the Most out of Your Lemons article. I had just used the rind in a repair job to protect my fingers from some contact glue β I used it instead of my finger to rub down the seal which happened to be between a frame and a mesh for my garden. Left my fingers smelling great instead of peeling with glue for a change! I guess any citrus peel will do and I have also used passion fruit peel for that matter, but I had lemon rind on hand for that job recently.
Thanks Kim – that’s a great tip! I will have to update the post to 21 ways to get the most out of lemons π
