Banana Fritters Recipe

This dessert is perfect served hot straight from the pan, but is also still delicious even after sitting a while. That makes this an easy dessert for hosting! You can make it fun by serving different topping options and make it an interactive treat that everyone can make themselves…


2 cups self­-raising flour

½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

1½ cups water

4 bananas


Oil for deep frying


Start by sifting your flour and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl. Add water and mix to a smooth batter. Peel bananas, cut into three and roll lightly in flour. Then, drop banana pieces into batter and drain off excess batter.

Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.

    I’d be hard pressed to just name 10 foods I woudln’t want to live without and points/calories weren’t a worry. Here are a few:Sushi, chai tea, buttered toast, cheese (pretty much any kind,warm cinnamon buns with cream cheese frosting, kale, fresh picked raspberries, sun ripened just picked tomatoes with fresh basil and balasamic…oh geez, now I’m hungry… Have a great Friday.
